Abstract Parents can influence sons’ body image and eating behaviors both directly (e.g., through comments) and/or indirectly (i.e., modeling). However, available studies still lack in addressing parents’ on their sons. This study aimed to explore parental indirect by investigating the associations between mothers’ fathers’ dissatisfaction, disordered eating, corresponding dimensions Moreover, we examined relation social anxiety symptoms, low self-esteem, perfectionistic traits, dissatisfaction eating. Abstract Objectives Body dissatisfaction is a public health concern, prevalent among women. This study aims to investigate the efficacy of 2‐week online functionality‐focused intervention combined with psychoeducation on improving body image young women at both high and low risk Image Disorders (BIDs). Design A randomized controlled trial was conducted developing BIDs. Methods In total, 231 ( n = 64 BIDs) were into: experimental 113) waitlist 118) groups. The group underwent baseline (T0) for 15 days (T1), while started T1 (T2). Participants completed questionnaires about functionality appreciation, eating disorders (EDs) extreme baseline, from 30 baseline. Results Mixed linear models revealed enhancements in appreciation post‐intervention Reductions EDs observed participants risk. Conclusions proves be useful promoting positive (i.e. appreciation) BIDs, results concerning are more nuanced.
