In the last few decades, promotion of active transport has been a viable solution recommended by transportation researchers, urban planners, and policymakers to reduce traffic congestion improve public health in cities. To encourage transport, it is important for cities provide safe accessible infrastructure pedestrians cyclists, as well incentives individuals choose modes over private vehicles. this research, we focused on suburb Point Cook, located within City Wyndham Melbourne’s west, owing its rising human population vehicle ownership. The primary aim research examine barriers interconnectivity networks cyclists determine segments network that are not Cook residents. Our methodology enshrined use Social Pinpoint, which an online interactive survey platform, ground surveys (face-to-face interviews). our assessment utilised concept 20-min neighbourhoods evaluate accessibility many places 800-metre walking distance from residents’ homes. Based findings, approximately one-third engaged regular walking, with frequency ranging once day every two days. One-third participants trips or twice week, whereas remaining two-thirds conducted less frequently than week. Agricultural machinery can improve agricultural productivity and promote scale operation. However, operations lead to increased dust in farmland affect the atmospheric environment; thus, they have been increasingly emphasized. In this study, effects of wheat cultivation were investigated regarding emissions three kinds particulate matters, namely fine matter (PM2.5), inhalable (PM10) total suspended (TSP), from Beijing. The results showed that emission traditional tillage mode, including straw crushing, rotary tilling sowing, was 3.990 g per hectare, which larger than conservation mode only no-tillage sowing (0.407 hectare). for one hectare under two modes 3.415 g, 0.497 0.407 0.078 shredding, tillage, conventional respectively. values PM2.5/PM10 PM2.5/TSP decreased each section after operation, while PM10/TSP basically unchanged, indicating due are mainly PM10 TSP. concentration generated by with an increase speed provided quality operation guaranteed. The long-distance spreading and transport of airborne particulate matter (PM) biogenic or chemical compounds, which are thought to be possible carriers SARS-CoV-2 virions, can have a negative impact on the incidence severity COVID-19 viral disease. Considering total Aerosol Optical Depth at 550 nm (AOD) as an atmospheric aerosol loading variable, inhalable fine PM with diameter ≤2.5 µm (PM2.5) coarse ≤10 (PM10) during 26 February 2020–31 March 2022, COVID-19’s five waves in Romania, current study investigates outdoor pandemic Bucharest city. Through descriptive statistics analysis applied average daily time series situ satellite data PM2.5, PM10, climate parameters, this found decreased trends PM2.5 PM10 concentrations 24.58% 18.9%, respectively compared pre-pandemic period (2015–2019). Exposure high levels particles was positively correlated mortality. derived PM2.5/PM10 ratios entire relatively low (<0.44), indicating dominance traffic-related particles’ fraction.
