Targeted drug delivery is proposed to reduce the toxic effects of conventional therapeutic methods. For that purpose, nanoparticles are loaded with drugs called nanocarriers and directed toward a specific site. However, biological barriers challenge convey target site effectively. Different targeting strategies nanoparticle designs used overcome these barriers. Ultrasound new, safe, non-invasive method, especially when combined microbubbles. Microbubbles oscillate under effect ultrasound, which increases permeability endothelium, hence, uptake Consequently, this new technique reduces dose avoids its side effects. This review aims describe types critical features acoustically driven microbubbles focusing on biomedical applications. The theoretical part covers historical developments in microbubble models for different conditions: an incompressible compressible medium bubbles encapsulated by shell. current state possible future directions discussed.

This study reports on the synthesis of Mn1 - xZnxFe2O4 (Mn, Zn ferrite) magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) as drug delivery carriers for effective therapeutic outcomes. The MNPs were prepared using coprecipitation method, and their properties investigated based composition. Among compositions tested, Mn0.8Zn0.2Fe2O4 exhibited superparamagnetic with a saturation magnetization moment 34.6 emu/g at room temperature (25°C). To enhance water solubility curcumin (Cur), known its hydrophobic nature, it was successfully loaded onto alginate (Alg)/chitosan (Chit)@Mn0.8Zn0.2Fe2O4 (NPs). nanocomposite characterized by field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) which revealed particle size approximately 20 nm. crystalline structure NPs analyzed X-ray diffraction, while Fourier-transform infrared (FTIR), energy-dispersive X-ray, map analysis techniques employed further characterization. In terms release, there an initial burst release Cur (around 18%) within first hour, followed slower (approximately 61%) over next 36 h. anti-tumor Cur-loaded evaluated Methyl Thiazol Tetrazolium (MTT) assay quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction. MTT confirmed higher cytotoxic effect Alg/[email protected] MCF-7 breast cancer cell line compared to free Cur, highlighting significance incorporating into nano-sized carrier systems.
