Agricultural practices significantly impact soil properties and ecological functions, highlighting the importance of comprehensive health assessments. Traditionally, these assessments have focused on physical chemical indicators, often neglecting microbiological properties. This review explores potential indicators in evaluating effects agricultural emphasizing their significance addressing challenges associated with application. A key advantage is high sensitivity rapid response to environmental changes. These can be grouped into three categories: microbial biomass abundance, taxonomic composition diversity, activity. Among these, carbon, basal respiration, decomposition rates are considered most reliable interpretable indicators. Microbial diversity remain limited diagnostic predictive capabilities due interpretation. Integrating offers a more holistic understanding interactions between health, enhancing our ability monitor, manage, preserve ecosystems. To facilitate adoption production land management, further efforts needed improve interpretability establish standardized criteria for assessment.

Zero Budget Natural Farming (ZBNF), utilizing natural resources, multiple cropping systems, and cow-dung- urine-based products to improve soil biology, has been practiced by thousands of farmers in India. However, without any scientific proof, this traditional ancient technique is mocked as a bugged theory the community. In current study, we have investigated effect Jeevamrit—cow-dung- formulation—on chemical microbial properties ZBNF field coupled with metagenomic analysis economics ZBNF. The percentage increase properties, such organic carbon, available phosphorus, potassium, was recorded up 46%, 439%, 142%, respectively, while micronutrients, Zn, Fe, Cu, Mn, also increased 98%, 23%, 62%, 55%, from 2017 2019. Whole genome revealed that Proteobacteria were dominantly present, bacterial phyla including Bacillus, Pseudomonas, Rhizobium, Panibacillus. On other hand, Ascomycota dominating fungal present sample. Further, functional showed high representation genes/enzymes involved amino acids carbohydrate metabolism contributing fertility, plant growth, defense, development. Additionally, cost–benefit ratio double farmer’s practice when tested rice wheat system. results study provide new proof concept understanding potential component, i.e., Jeevamrit, improving properties.

Abstract The One Health approach is a collaborative and interdisciplinary strategy with focal point on human, animal, environmental health interconnections. can support the advanced management of allergic diseases asthma, as complex, multifactorial driven by interactions between resilience response to exposome. According concept asthma arising from exposures wide range allergens, infectious agents irritants (such pollutants) occurring indoors outdoors be heavily influenced (air, water, soil quality) intermingled animal health. These are currently impacted climate change, land use, urbanization, migration, overpopulation, many more. Thus, coordinated address underlying factors that contribute development needs focus environment, altogether. Collaborative efforts across multiple sectors, including public health, veterinary medicine, science, community engagement thus needed. A activities, monitoring surveillance data, targeted interventions reduce allergens irritants, research mechanisms drive needed move field forward. In this consensus document elaborated European Academy Allergy Clinical Immunology (EAACI) American Allergy, Asthma, (AAAAI) under practical allergy (PRACTALL) series, we provide insights into Heath aiming framework for addressing complex nature asthma.
