Designing and synthesizing cost-effective catalysts that exhibit excellent performance of both the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) oxygen (OER) is a formidable task in field electrocatalysis. Herein, we present Fe- P-codoped NiS amorphous film catalyst (FeNiSP) via meticulous control over cations anions metal compounds. The doped Fe P increases active sites, reduces charge transfer resistance, modulates electronic structures matrix. Leveraging these advantages, FeNiSP showcases exceptional bifunctional activities HER OER, with remarkably low overpotentials only 135 330 mV for achieving current density 100 mA·cm-2 during respectively. Additionally, cell voltage 1.56 V at 10 was achieved when it employed as anode cathode water splitting. Finally, function theory calculations further elucidate simultaneous presence leads to decrease band center S Ni. This consequential effect maintains balanced adsorption/desorption protons strengthened adsorption O-based intermediates on surface FeNiSP, subsequently contributing outstanding electrocatalytic OER activities.
