In agricultural and fishery production, the occurrence of cyanobacterial blooms contamination freshwater systems with microplastics have become increasingly important research focuses. However, individual combined toxic mechanisms these two pollutants are not yet fully understood. Therefore, in this study, we analyzed effects stressors, microcystins (MC) nanoplastics (NP), on transcriptome metabolome hepatopancreas river clams. RNA metabolites extracted from clams treated MC, NP, a combination MC NP were used to construct standardized cDNA libraries, which then subjected integrated analysis. Significant enrichment 49 pathways, 34 44 pathways was observed group compared control group, NP-MC respectively. three experimental groups, found that lysosome pathway, affects immune function cell apoptosis, enriched numerous differentially expressed genes metabolites. Changes ATP6N ADP may impair lysosomal acidification disrupt normal degradation processes, indicating interference hepatopancreatic metabolism pollutants. Interestingly, significant alterations cathepsin family, downregulation genes, along ATP6N, implies potential disruption proteolysis. purine expression levels suggests an impact system by NP-MC. conclusion, while there is some overlap damage caused MCs, MPs, NP-MC, further necessary understand their effects.

Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the most common type of liver cancer. Unfortunately, it frequently diagnosed in advanced stages, limiting available treatment options. Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) have shown promise treating HCC, although their effectiveness varies among patients and can result undesirable side effects. To enhance outcomes ensure patient safety, close monitoring early intervention for effects are necessary. Consequently, selection biomarkers that predict response to ICIs HCC becomes crucial. MicroRNAs, which play a vital role regulating gene expression emerged as potential predicting response. Some microRNAs been found affect such CTLA-4 PD-L1, targets inhibitor therapy. By identifying specific forecast ICIs, healthcare providers personalize plans patients. This tailored approach optimizes resource utilization minimizes risk adverse Ultimately, this personalized strategy improve quality life individuals with HCC. Thus, capable holds significant importance. It has rates, decrease effects, optimize resources.
