Abstract This study aims to investigate the association between metabolomic aging acceleration and body mass index (BMI) phenotypes with mortality obesity‐related morbidities (ORMs). 85,458 participants were included from UK Biobank. Metabolomic age was determined using 168 metabolites. The Chronological Age‐Adjusted Gap used define metabolomically younger (MY) or older (MO) status. BMI categories defined as normal weight, overweight, obese. Participants categorized into MY weight (MY‐NW, reference), overweight (MY‐OW), obesity (MY‐OB), MO (MO‐NW), (MO‐OW), (MO‐OB). Mortality 43 ORMs identified through death registries hospitalization records. Compared MY‐NW phenotype, MO‐OB phenotype yielded increased risk of 32 ORMs, followed by MO‐OW 27 MY‐OB 26 MY‐OW 21 MO‐NW 14 ORMs. Consistently, showed highest developing multimorbidities, phenotype. Additive interactions found on CVD‐specific 10 Additionally, individuals had higher cardiovascular risk, even within same category. These findings suggest that could help stratify across different categories. Weight management should also be extended in absence accelerated aging, they face healthy compared individuals. delaying metabolic is needed for all groups, including those

Abstract Synapses serve as the points of communication between neurons, consisting primarily three components: presynaptic membrane, synaptic cleft, and postsynaptic membrane. They transmit signals through release reception neurotransmitters. Synaptic plasticity, ability synapses to undergo structural functional changes, is influenced by proteins such growth‐associated proteins, vesicle density neurotrophic growth factors. Furthermore, maintaining plasticity consumes more than half brain's energy, with a significant portion this energy originating from ATP generated mitochondrial metabolism. Consequently, quantity, distribution, transport, function mitochondria impact stability brain metabolism, thereby participating in regulation fundamental processes including neuronal differentiation, neurite outgrowth, synapse formation, neurotransmitter release. This article provides comprehensive overview associated common factors two, well relationship metabolism plasticity.

Sarcopenia is a progressive systemic skeletal muscle disease induced by various physiological and pathological factors, including aging, malnutrition, denervation, cardiovascular diseases, manifesting as the decline of mass function. Both exercise nutrition produce beneficial effects on growth are viewed feasible strategies to prevent sarcopenia. Mechanisms involve regulating blood flow, oxidative stress, inflammation, apoptosis, protein synthesis degradation, satellite cell activation through exerkines gut microbiomes. In this review, we summarized discussed latest progress future development above mechanisms for providing theoretical basis ideas prevention treatment

Engaging in regular exercise and physical activity contributes to delaying the onset of cardiovascular diseases (CVDs). However, physiological mechanisms underlying benefits or CVDs remain unclear. The disruption mitochondrial homeostasis is implicated pathological process CVDs. Exercise training effectively delays progression by significantly ameliorating homeostasis. This includes improving biogenesis, increasing fusion, decreasing fission, promoting mitophagy, mitigating morphology function. review provides a comprehensive overview context CVDs, establishing connection between these conditions. Through detailed examination molecular within mitochondria, study illuminates how can provide innovative perspectives for future therapies

Regular exercise is widely recognized for its numerous physical and mental benefits, but effects on male reproductive health are less understood. This review aims to summarize the current evidence impact of reproduction, including hormone regulation, spermatogenesis sperm quality, fertility. Moderate improves increasing count, motility, morphology, while excessive severe may have detrimental effects. Exercise positively influences fertility by reducing oxidative stress enhancing DNA integrity. activity regulates hormones, testosterone, follicle-stimulating hormone, luteinizing hormone. Exercise-induced weight management improved insulin sensitivity also contribute better health. In conclusion, has a profound health, with moderate promoting hormonal balance, However, severe/excessive exerts negative These findings imply that balanced routine, usually mild moderate, combined healthy lifestyle essential optimal once prolonged, it could impair Further research needed understand mechanisms underlying exercise-reproduction relationship fully.

Background: Interstitial lung diseases (ILD) are a heterogenous group of that involve inflammation and/or fibrosis the parenchyma. ILD can exert significant stress on person’s extrapulmonary systems, eroding organ and physical function. Thus, accelerate age-related vulnerabilities lead to early onset frailty, which makes frailty prevalent in at any age. Frailty confers three-fold increase of, predicts, mortality ILD. Objective: To present feasible approach understanding addressing holistic health fortify psychological capacity markedly enhances tolerance aging. Methods: From our previous published work consisted serial Medline PubMed scoping reviews (with search terms such as interstitial disease, ILD, idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, IPF, systemic sclerosis, sarcoidosis, well-being), patient focus groups, outcome measures deconstruction linking World Health Organization’s International Classification Disability, nominal processes, we iteratively isolated factors seem and, importantly, protect against reverse frailty. These were presented The Eastern Pulmonary Conference September 2024 summarized herein. Results: result is collective statement (a) summarizes health-care system responsibilities providing sustainable, humane environments for patients clinicians; (b) advocates intervention shared decision-making from time diagnosis well-being when living with ILD; (c) offers guidance physical, mental, social well literacy strength voice. Conclusion: Proactive begins diagnosis. Interventions incremental based priorities preferences introduce well-being.
