Safety training is the exercise normally conducted for all current and future employees of a company to identify recognize occupational hazards diseases as well determine appropriate controlling methods. Moreover, virtual reality (VR) technology developed virtually simulate surrounding environment ensure immersive experience interaction through artificial three-dimensional (3D) platforms. VR devices have been be more compact, easy use, affordable enable people enjoy experiences provide interactive realistic content. This has made one most popular forms media different kinds training, such safety-related ones. Therefore, this study aimed review use in safety systematic literature (SLR) method. The process focused on developing 4 primary questions (PQs) classified into 11 research (SRQs) discussion points concerning developments applications. These were further combined with preferred reporting items reviews meta-analyses (PRISMA) flow diagrams selecting relevant literature. also used investigate scenarios, methods, objectives, outcomes previous studies. results showed need studies application other fields firefighting, chemical industry, maritime, etc. Furthermore, several scenarios construction design, disaster response, rescue procedures, others included. provides information gaps study, including exploration broader range industries scenarios.

Off-site construction (OSC) is expected to boost productivity, shorten time, and reduce labour material wastage. Despite these benefits, most OSC projects have not fully achieved advantages, where a primary obstacle lies in the limited management of knowledge. However, there still no holistic understanding integration KM context. Therefore, this paper explores latest development for through systematic literature review using Preferred Reporting Items Systematic Reviews Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines template analysis. The based on 66 screened assessed journal articles from all years 2024 with particular focus OSC. Through quantitative qualitative analysis, study groups four main research themes including design, project management, knowledge-based decision-making, results are discussed gain key knowledge domains, investigate OSC, explore future needs emerging artificial intelligence (AI) technologies.

Crane-lift planning is critical but challenging to ensure construction safety and efficiency for the installation of heavy components. It engages a group decision-making process that involves various stakeholders exchange knowledge crane capabilities, site characteristics, operational feasibility. However, conventional methods based on drawings, animations, standalone virtual prototypes are inefficient in enabling collaborative due rigid visualization inflexible interactions among different stakeholders. This paper aims develop lift (Co-HeLP) system suppliers, managers, operators an immersive shared environment layout optimization lifting simulation. Specifically, incorporates multiuser networking unit enable design crane-lift layouts concurrently synchronize changes real time facilitating information-sharing planning. In addition, cross-platform reality (VR) developed provide with role-tailored allocation first-person operation. Automatic feasibility checking also formulated assist appraising jib reach limits loading capacities more efficiently. The demonstrated using real-life modular building project multiple bulky modules. To evaluate system, two groups industry practitioners from suppliers main contractors conducted Co-HeLP, where their responses were collected questionnaire-based surveys interviews. Results show rated highly automatability (0.77/1), collectiveness (0.81/1), applicability (0.85/1), advantages full-scale multirole interactions. opens up new possibilities jointly manage constraints build consensus plans through mutually interactive role-independent environment. More broadly, derives generic VR mechanism address fragmented coordination transfer, thereby collective management construction.
