Agriculture accounts for a significant economic share in less-developed countries, especially Kosovo, where there is lignite-dominated energy supply. Lignite’s partial replacement with locally produced renewable sources could play an essential role reducing farmers’ costs and preparing the country EU accession. In this study, the available energy potential (AEP) from agricultural and animal waste in Turkey 2021, which is an important country, was calculated using Turkish Statistical Institute data presented with digital maps prepared ArcGIS program. It determined that has a total of 4.6 × 108 GJ AEP, 3.7 104 wastes 8.7 107 wastes. Furthermore, 81.06% AEP composed wastes, 18.94% Şanlıurfa highest (4 GJ), while Konya (4.3 106 GJ).
