Background Anorexia nervosa (AN) and bulimia (BN) poses a significant challenge to global public health. Despite extensive research, conclusive evidence regarding the association between gut microbes risk of AN BN remains elusive. Liposomes and niosomes can be considered excellent drug delivery systems due to their ability load all compounds, whether hydrophobic or hydrophilic. Chlorella species are fast-growing microalgae with significant industrial applications. The aim of the present study was to investigate antitumor, antioxidant, and hemolytic activities sorokiniana UTEX 1230 crude methanol extracts fractions. By triggering mechanisms that impair metabolism mitochondria and cause cells to initiate apoptosis, this pigment demonstrates potent apoptotic-inducing potentials.
