Abstract In this study, thermogravimetric and thermo-kinetic analysis of sugarcane bagasse pith (S.B.P.) were performed using a robust suite experiments kinetic analyses, along with comparative evaluation on the characteristics two other major residues, namely straw (S.C.S.) (S.C.B.). The evaluated pyrolysis behavior these residues at different heating rates in nitrogen atmosphere. Kissinger, advanced non-linear isoconversional (ANIC), Friedman methods employed to obtain effective activation energies. Moreover, compensation effect theory (CE) combined (CKA) used determine pre-exponential factor model. Friedman's method findings indicated that average energies S.C.S., S.C.B., S.B.P. are 188, 170, 151 kJ/mol, respectively. results ANIC under integral step Δα = 0.01 closely aligned those method. CKA CE techniques estimated ln ( f (α) A α ) an relative error below 0.7%. factors order 10 14 , 12 11 (s −1 ), From thermodynamic viewpoint, positive ∆G* ∆H* provide evidence for non-spontaneous endothermic nature process, indicating occurrence endergonic reactions.

Lactic acid: choline chloride mixed in a 10:1 ratio is known to be suitable delignification solvent. This deep eutectic solvent (DES) can produce lignin and hemicellulose derivatives as byproducts cellulose. Hemicellulose include furanic compounds like furfural 5-HMF. Sustainable economically viable fractionation of furanics from the DES required. After removing larger (>2500 Da) through water precipitation, non-precipitated molecules such smaller retrieved liquid–liquid extraction (LLX). Abstract The economic advantages of H 2 SO 4 make it the acid choice for hydrometallurgical treatment waste lithium‐ion batteries (LIBs). However, to facilitate full dissolution higher valency metal oxides present in cathode black mass, a suitable reducing agent is required. Herein, application industrial liquor (BL) obtained from Kraft pulping papermaking investigated as renewable enhanced leaching transition metals LIB powder with . addition acidified BL significantly improved efficiency range chemistries, strongest effect observed manganese‐rich active material. Focusing on NMC 111 (LiMn x Co y Ni z O ) material, linear correlation between concentration and yield Mn was obtained, best overall efficiencies being achieved 2.0 mol L −1 50 vol % at 353 K. A quasi‐total degradation oxygenated aromatic groups during after leaching, suggesting that these chemical are essential reduction. Finally, leached could be easily recovered by pH adjustment oxalic addition, closing resource loop fostering efficiency.
