In this study, white sugar was dehydrated and then activated, producing extremely porous carbon as a result. The activated sugar-based (ASC) prepared by first dehydrating to produce (DSC) which chemically in nitrogen atmosphere using NaOH activating agent. With the aid of central composite design (CCD), component response surface methodology (RSM), ideal circumstances for removal Acid Chrome Blue K (ACBK) dye onto ASC adsorbent from aqueous solution were investigated. Adsorbent dosage 0.60 g, initial concentration 79 mg/L shaking speed 258 rpm adsorption conditions attained. obtained experimental predicted values 94.89% 94.22%, respectively, demonstrating good agreement between model with only modest error 0.71. linearized Langmuir equations five different versions, well Freundlich Temkin isotherms, used simulate data. Chi square (χ2) correlation coefficient (R2) taken into consideration while assessing validity each isotherm support selection best model. equilibrium data represented order Langmuir-2 > isotherms. outcomes showed that describing kinetics pseudo-second-order.
