Abstract
Whole
cell
microbial
biosensors
(WCMB)
are
mostly
genetically
modified
microorganisms
used
to
detect
target
molecules
as
indicators
of
biological
and
chemical
contaminants
well
in
the
identification
compounds
interest
food
industry.
The
specificity
sensitivity
these
achieved
through
design
genetic
circuits
that
make
use
sequences
such
promoters,
terminators,
genes
encoding
regulatory
proteins
or
reporter
proteins,
among
others.
Despite
advances
WCMBs
for
their
application,
significant
challenges
faced,
stability,
restrictions,
need
optimize
response
times
so
they
can
be
a
competitive
detection
tool
market.
This
review
explores
technological
progress,
potential
limitations
industry,
starting
by
reviewing
operating
principles
biosensors.
importance
selecting
appropriate
chassis
cells
integration
recognition
elements
transducers
maximize
effectiveness
industry
is
highlighted.

Dichloromethyl-Containing Derivatives from Streptomyces agglomeratus 5-2-6, a Soil Bacterium Isolated from the Qinghai–Tibet Plateau

novel
dichloromethyl-containing
polyketides
(1-6),
including
four
pyranone
analogs
(1-4)
and
two
furanone
isomers
(5,
6),
were
isolated
from
Streptomyces
agglomeratus
5-2-6,
which
was
obtained
the
Qinghai-Tibet
Plateau,
China.
Additionally,
new
linear
dichloromethyl
compounds
(7,
8)
via
heterologous
expression
of
agg(A-K)
in
coelicolor
M1152.
The
structures
absolute
configurations
these
primarily
elucidated
high-resolution
ESIMS,
NMR,
Mo2(OAc)4-induced
electronic
circular
dichroism,
application
modified
Mosher's
method.
Notably,
1-6
feature
a
moiety,
is
reported
for
first
time
pyranone-
furanone-type
natural
products.
Furthermore,
results
vivo
gene
deletion,
isotope
labeling,
vitro
enzyme
reaction
experiments
revealed
rare
single-component
flavin-dependent
halogenase,
AggA,
catalyzes
dichlorination
activated
sp3-methylene
groups.
