Urban-Building Energy Modelling (UBEM) tools play a crucial role in analysing and optimizing energy use within cities. Among the available approaches, bottom-up physics-based one is most versatile for urban development management applications. However, their accuracy often limited by inability to capture dynamic impact of occupants’ presence actions (i.e., Occupant Behaviour) on building patterns. While recent research has explored advanced Behaviour (OB) modelling techniques that incorporate stochasticity contextual influences, current UBEM practices primarily rely static occupant profiles, due limitations software itself. This paper addresses this topic conducting thorough literature review examine existing OB techniques, data sources, key features detailed information could enhance simulations. Furthermore, flexibility integrating models will be assessed, along with identification areas improvement. The findings are intended guide researchers tool developers towards creating more robust occupant-centric
