Integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into education, especially in teaching English as a Foreign Language (EFL), has increased interest and curiosity among EFL teachers. This systematic review examines the perspectives of both pre-service service teachers regarding use AI their practices. The focuses on studies published between 2021 2024. Scopus database was reviewed, 29 articles were analyzed. study adopted review, content analysis utilized for data analysis. findings revealed that most commonly used research method reviewed literature qualitative. generally regard tools helpful aiding language teaching, increasing student engagement, promoting personalized learning, improving overall efficiency. Moreover, is viewed reducing teacher workload by contributing to lesson planning, materials development, providing feedback students. However, also show are concerned about using classrooms. These include potential promote cheating plagiarism lack adequate training students utilizing effectively. Furthermore, possibility students' over-reliance AI, potentially hindering critical thinking creativity, ethical privacy issues related handling frequently cited concerns.

This study investigates the transformative potential of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI), particularly ChatGPT, in addressing educational challenges faced by Iranian English language teachers (N = 23). Drawing on qualitative data from focus group sessions, semi-structured interviews, and reflective essays, reveals five key themes: accessible learning materials, personalized experiences, ideological influences, overcoming technological barriers, combating isolation global trends. The findings highlight GenAI's capacity to provide diverse up-to-date materials tailored individual learners' needs, address biases, facilitate cross-cultural communication. Moreover, GenAI offers professional development opportunities for teachers, bridging digital divide empowering with levels literacy. By integrating into instruction, can overcome longstanding challenges, foster critical thinking, promote intellectual freedom open-mindedness among students. demonstrates inclusive education providing experiences that accommodate cultural backgrounds needs.

This study explores the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into educational data mining (EDM), human-assisted machine learning (HITL-ML), and machine-assisted teaching, with aim improving adaptive personalized environments. The purpose of this paper is to explore the influence using AI chatbots on learning within context engineering education. This study explores the impact of generative AI-based feedback, specifically utilizing ChatGPT, on essay-writing proficiency and revision outcomes university students in Hong Kong. A randomized controlled trial was conducted, where one group received AI-generated feedback while control traditional feedback. Purposes In light of the usefulness theoretical framework, this research seeks to explore affordances and challenges integrating a generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) tool named ERNIE Bot into writing feedback process. Design/Approach/Method A qualitative design was adopted for study. Twelve students were purposively chosen as focal participants. Data came from multiple sources. Semi-structured interviews used primary source, triangulated with other data sources including drafts, reviews peers, chatlogs Bot. The inductively deductively analyzed. Findings study highlighted technological, educational, social benefits GenAI feedback, its timeliness personalization (technological), roles both an essay editor responsive tutor (educational), ability provide supportive environment engaging process (social).
