Xanthan gum (XG) is a well-known anionic polysaccharide that finds broad application in the food and petroleum industries because of its ability to enhance solution viscosity at low concentrations moderate temperatures. Bacteria, fungi, and algae are examples of microorganisms that synthesize polysaccharides, which macromolecules belong to the carbohydrate class. Production polysaccharides represents an alternative chemical plant-derived compounds could be used for human well-being requires implementation different methods standardized during extraction purification process. In current investigation, <i>Pseudolagarobasidium acaciicola</i>, a novel fungal source exopolysaccharide (EPS) was produced 2773.23 &#177; 100.39 mg/L when cultured under pre-optimized composed medium 7 days submerged culture conditions. Biochemical estimation crude revealed presence carbohydrates, protein, reducing sugar, least phenolics no flavonoids. Partially purified EPS (ppEPS) subjected monosaccharide analysis, molecular weight determination structural confirmation using FTIR LCMS analysis. The maltose, fructose, xylose, galactose, glucose, raffinose sorbose evident in ppEPS HPTLC at 285 nm, with dextran 70 (tentative). Characterization functional groups including -OH, -COO, C-O-C C-O like cellulose, phosphate 3'-Sialyl-N-acetyllactosamine glycan as main form. Hence, our hypothesis is: strain may explore more possibilities enhanced recovery important further drug discovery formulation programs. Based on existing research anti-cancerous characteristics &beta;-Glycans, <i>in silico</i> study carried out, suggested &beta;-Glycans operate potent against its receptor CLEC7A than oral chemotherapy imatinib.
