Objective: Breast cancer is the second most common malignancy globally and a leading cause of death in women. Analysis factors related to disease-free survival (DFS) has improved understanding disease characteristics recurrence. The aim this study was investigate predictors DFS patients with breast enable identification at high risk who may benefit from prevention interventions. Methods: We retrospectively analyzed 559 women underwent treatment between 2004 2022. endpoint DFS. Recurrence defined as local recurrence, regional distant metastases, contralateral cancer, other primary death. Baseline tumor-related characteristics, treatment-related sociodemographic biochemical data were using Cox proportional hazards analysis. Results: median 45 months (range, 2 225 months). recurred 86 (15.4%), whom 10 had 17 29 died. Multivariate forward stepwise regression analysis showed that AJCC stage III, Ki67 ≥ 14%, albumin, platelet, red cell distribution width-standard deviation (RDW-SD) worse In addition, effects RDW-SD on recurrence confirmed by structural equation model (SEM) Conclusion: addition traditional such III lower pretreatment circulating higher platelet count could significantly predict study, SEM delineated possible causal pathways inter-relationships contributing among Chinese cancer.
