Abstract Photodynamic therapy (PDT) and photothermal (PTT) leverage reactive oxygen species (ROS) control local hyperthermia by photosensitizer to perturb intracellular redox equilibrium, inducing DNA damage in both mitochondria nucleus, activating the cGAS‐STING pathway, ultimately eliciting antitumor immune responses. However, current photosensitizers are encumbered limitations such as suboptimal tumor targeting, aggregation‐caused quenching (ACQ), restricted excitation emission wavelengths. Here, this work designs novel nanoparticles based on aggregation‐induced (AIE) (BODTPE) for targeted near‐infrared II fluorescence imaging (NIR‐II FLI) with enhanced PDT/PTT effects. BODTPE is employed a monomer, dibenzocyclooctyne (DBCO)‐PEG 2k ‐amine serving an end‐capping polymer, synthesize BODTPE‐containing polymer (DBD). Further, through self‐assembly, DBD mPEG‐DSPE combined form (NP‐DBD). Notably, DBCO surface of NP‐DBD can react azide groups cancer cells pretreated Ac 4 ManNAz copper‐free click reaction. This innovative formulation led accumulation within sites, phenomenon convincingly demonstrated murine models subjected N ‐azidoacetylmannosamine‐tetraacylated (Ac ManNAz) pretreatment. Significantly, exhibits multifaceted effect encompassing PDT/PTT/NIR‐II FLI upon 808 nm laser irradiation, thereby better culminating compelling inhibition augmented robust modulation.

Three dithio-fused boron dipyrromethenes (BODIPYs), DTFB-1, DTFB-2, and DTFB-3, in which symmetrically S-heteroaromatic ring units fused at [a], zigzag, [b] bonds of the parent BODIPY core, respectively, were prepared from facile efficient post-functionalization tetra-halogenated BODIPYs through Pd-catalyzed cyclization. Dithio-fusion various positions effectively tunes their photophysical properties single-crystal structural packing arrangements. The single-crystalline microribbons DTFB-2 exhibit commendable hole mobilities air, reaching up to 0.03 cm2 V–1 s–1.

Organic luminogens (OLs) that emit strong fluorescence in both solution and the aggregated state, referred to as dual-state emission (DSEgens), are highly desirable because of their capability achieve multiple functions within onefold materials. The OLs, including DSEgens, with intramolecular charge transfer characteristics, often decreases solvent polarity increases, namely positive solvatokinetic effect, resulting inferior environmental stability. In this work, fluorination naphthalimide (NI)-cyanostilbene (CS) derivatives was adopted construct novel DSEgens (NICSF-X, X = B, P, M, T, respectively). Steady-state transient spectroscopies were utilized study photophysical properties, evidencing DSE properties quantum yields (φ) ∼0.2-0.4 ∼0.5-0.9 solids. particular, polar solvents i.e., φ up ∼0.4-0.5 ethanol, sustained for NICSF-Xs, possibly assisted by hydrogen bonding (H-bonding) formation. Theoretical calculations single-crystal structure analysis rationalized intense photoluminescence (PL) NICSF-Xs solid state. addition, showed two-photon absorption (2PA) behaviors dual states successfully applied HepG2 cell imaging one-photon 2PA excitation, lipid droplet targeting. Our suggests functionalization molecules introduce H-bonding is a promising strategy enhance stability realize PL solvents, which could be favorable bioimaging.

Abstract This study presents a novel boron‐difluoride complex‐based fluorescent nanofilm sensor capable of detecting sarin vapors in the environment by reporting an output fluorescence signal. The sensor's evaluation demonstrated exceptionally low detection limit for vapor, even presence various interfering gases, with theoretical and practical limits 0.7 1 ppb, respectively. featured rapid response time (less than 2 s), broad linear range (1 ppb–1000 ppm), superior selectivity vapor over group analytes, outperforming existing sensors. Mechanistic indicates that heightened sensitivity to is due robust affinity nitrogen atoms within core BODIQ unit sarin. Additionally, tetraphenylethylene structure steric hindrance effectively inhibits tight packing derivatives, forms numerous microporous structures self‐assembled nanofilm, which are beneficial mass transfer, enhancing efficiency vapors. Furthermore, we have achieved differentiation sarin, diethyl chlorophosphate, HCl through analysis sensing kinetic. opens new avenues sustainable, low‐cost, environment‐friendly portable devices, as well environmental monitoring tracking applications.
