Lipids are essential for various cellular functions, including energy storage, membrane flexibility, and signaling molecule production. Maintaining proper lipid levels is important to prevent health problems such as cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, cardiovascular diseases, obesity, diabetes. Monitoring droplets (LDs) in real-time with high resolution can provide insights into LD-related pathways diseases owing the dynamic nature of LDs. Fluorescence-based imaging widely used tracking LDs live cells animal models. However, current fluorophores have limitations poor photostability background staining. Herein, we developed a novel fluorogenic probe based on push–pull interaction combined aggregation-induced emission enhancement (AIEE) Probe 1 exhibits favorable permeability spectroscopic characteristics, allowing specific time-lapse LD accumulation. This also be examine fruit fly tissues metabolic states, serving highly versatile tool tissue environments.
