The carbon dioxide (CO2) capture and utilization strategy has emerged as an innovative multifaceted approach to counteract emissions. In this study, a highly porous muffin polyhedral barium (Ba) ̵ organic framework (BaTATB; H3TATB = 4,4',4″-s-triazine-2,4,6-triyl-tribenzoic acid) was synthesized solvothermally. three-dimensional honeycomb pore architectures were densely populated with Lewis acidic Ba(II) metal sites basic nitrogen-rich triazines. BaTATB demonstrated selective CO2 adsorption high heat of adsorption. Its abundance (Ba clusters) (triazine) makes ideal catalyst for the cycloaddition epoxides in two- three-component reactions. Furthermore, is exceptional recyclable aromatic amines, enabling high-yield synthesis cyclic carbonates oxazolidinone at 1 bar under moderate, solvent-free, cocatalyst-free conditions. Additionally, recycled nine seven consecutive cycles carbonate no substantial decrease catalytic activity. Using density functional theory, we rational design metal-organic frameworks that exhibit excellent conversion.

Metal-organic framework (MOF)-based sensors, which have garnered considerable focus for their potential to enhance environmental monitoring and improve water quality by accurately consistently identifying antibiotic compounds in water, gained interest. With the help of pH value, an unusual instance single-crystal-to-single-crystal (SCSC) transition from three-dimensional (3D) Zn-framework {[Zn2(mbix)2(2,5-bda)2]·H2O} n (1) 3D 2-fold {[Zn4(mbix)4(2,5-bda)4]·H2O} (2) has been observed under mild conditions. This transformation necessitates replication structure 1 while simultaneously modifying angle between planes imidazole benzene rings. It is noteworthy that detection capabilities 2 tetracyclines (TC) surpass those other analytes water. Furthermore, sensing results are close consistency with S-V model when TC concentrations fall within range 0-0.08 mM. Additionally, limit (LOD) sensor toward estimated be 0.59 nM. The stronger quenching impact seen can linked a more significant overlap energy transfer process. aforementioned proposition presents viable strategy systematic fabrication economically luminescent thereby enabling efficient cost-effective modifications properties.
