A
consistent
association
has
been
observed
between
internet
addiction
and
symptoms
of
social
anxiety.
However,
there
is
a
lack
empirical
research
that
delves
into
potential
explanations
for
this
relationship

Background
Increased
prevalence

problematic
smartphone

(PSU)

smartphones,

impact

physical

health
