Early sexual initiation among female youth in Tanzania presents a significant public health concern, as it is associated with increased risks of unintended pregnancies, sexually transmitted infections and adverse socioeconomic consequences.​ This study aimed to determine the prevalence factors early Tanzania. We used data from 2022 Demographic Health Survey, conducted between February 24 July 21, 2022. The sampling frame was stratified by geographic region urban/rural areas, using two-stage method that selected primary units based on census enumeration followed household selection probability systematic sampling. The current study aims to explore the relevance of ‘time spent with parents’ for different risk behaviors (i.e., alcohol use, smoking, gambling and problematic social media use), peer factors time peers, pressure support) parenting control, relatedness family support). A cross-sectional design was employed, including 2165 adolescents aged from 12 18 years (Mage = 14.7, SD 1.33; 52% girls; 30% in pre-vocational education). Reflections of Adult Learners on Binge-Watching and its Detrimental Impact on the Environment in West Bengal, India DOI Open Access

In contemporary society, digital technology permeates every aspect of our routines. This study assessed students' comprehension the environmental impacts prolonged screen time, specifically during binge-watching sessions. It investigated awareness carbon emissions from electronic device usage, habits, and influencing factors such as content preferences, duration, frequency. The also explored potential interventions to mitigate impacts. Using a mixed-methods approach, data were collected 525 higher education students (150 male, 375 female) through self-designed standardized questionnaires. analysis involved Percentage, t-test, ANOVA, Multiple Correlation, coding processes. Results indicated that 66.67% had high level understanding regarding impact binge-watching, while only 4.76% highly aware extended time. Additionally, 23.81% exhibited levels habits behavior. Gender disparities significant; females demonstrated deeper (t=4.08, p < α) showed different compared males (t=3.16, α). While the use of video games and social media is an enjoyable recreational activity for most users, a minority develop problematic patterns use.
