In response to the increasing global water demand and pressing environmental challenges posed by climate change, development of advanced wastewater treatment processes has become essential. This study introduces novel electrochemical technologies examines scalability industrial-scale electrooxidation (EO) methods for treatment, focusing on simplifying reducing operational costs. Focusing effective removal key nutrients, specifically nitrogen phosphorus, from wastewater, this review highlights recent advancements in electrode materials innovative designs, such as high-performance metal oxides carbon-based electrodes, that enhance efficiency sustainability. Additionally, a comprehensive discussion covers range methods, including electrocoagulation electrooxidation, each evaluated their effectiveness nutrient removal.
