Microplastics are emerging contaminants and have found significant interest due to their pervasive nature potential health impacts on different life forms. A number of methods been investigated so far, including the use synthetic recently natural coagulants, however, protein extracts derived from plant-based materials not extensively studied for such applications. Therefore, there is an urgent need develop a sustainable treatment technology removal microplastics. In this study, coagulation experiments were conducted under varying conditions as pH, coagulant type concentration using jar test apparatus microplastics aqueous samples. The proteins extracted two Moringa oleifera Benincasa hispida, in It was that M. achieved 94.14 ± 11.0% at dosage 30 mL/L whereas B. hispida 88.29 10.7% 40 pH 7. novelty study lies evaluating impact seed findings suggest can be effective, sustainable, eco-friendly affordable alternatives chemical coagulants systems.
