Abstract This study describes the in-vitro cytotoxic effects of PEG-400 (Polyethylene glycol-400)-capped platinum nanoparticles (PEGylated Pt NPs) on both normal and cancer cell lines. Structural characterization was carried out using x-ray diffraction Raman spectroscopy with an average crystallite size 5.7 nm, morphological assessment Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) revealed presence spherical nanoparticles.
