Abstract Osteoarthritis (OA) is a prevalent, chronic degenerative disease that affects people worldwide. It characterized by the destruction of cartilage and inflammatory reactions. High levels reactive oxygen species (ROS) cause oxidative stress, which damages lipids, proteins, DNA, leading to cell damage death. Furthermore, ROS also induces production cytokines chemotaxis, further worsening response damaging resulted in limited movement. Herein, this work reports dual‐functional injectable hydrogel, can help inhibit inflammation scavenging provide lubrication reduce wear tear on joints. To create 3‐aminophenylboronic acid modified hyaluronic synthesized, then crosslinked with hydroxyl‐containing polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) construct dual dynamic covalent hydrogel oHA‐PBA‐PVA gel, Gel (HPP). The mentioned here possesses unique bond structure allows it be injected, self‐heal, lubrication. This innovative approach offers new possibility for treating osteoarthritis combining anti‐inflammatory effects.
