(1) Background: Dry eye disease (DED) is a chronic ocular surface condition that requires precise diagnostic tools. The present study aimed to investigate the potential of absolute inter-eye difference (|OD-OS|) in tear meniscus height (TMH) for detection presence aqueous deficient dry (ADDE). Background: The aim of the present study was to establish a cut-off value Lipid Layer Pattern (LLP) between participants with different subtypes Dry Eye Disease (DED) including Deficient (ADDE), Evaporative (EDE), and Mixed (MDE). Methods: 240 diagnosed DED according Tear Film Ocular Surface Society in Workshop II guidelines were included study. Meniscus Height (TMH) using Tearscope illumination Meibomian Gland Loss Area (MGLA) Keratograph 5M assessed categorize into an ADDE group, EDE or MDE group. Then, LLP following Guillon (LLP-G) Colour (LLP-C) schemes. Results: Receiver Operating Characteristics (ROC) showed that both LLP-G LLP-C have no diagnostic potential distinguishing (both p ≥ 0.724). Dry eye disease (DED) is a common chronic condition with increasing prevalence. Standard discriminative visual acuity not reflective of real-world function, as patients can achieve normal acuities by blinking. Participants recruited from tertiary referral centre were divided into two groups-Severe DED (with significant, central staining) and Mild (absence such staining). Functional Visual Acuity (FVA) in both groups was assessed using the DryeyeKT mobile application Impact Vision Impairment (IVI) questionnaire to assess quality life (QOL). Among 78 participants (74.4% women), 30 (38.5%) had Severe 48 (61.5%) DED. In women, produced significantly worse FVA 0.53 ± 0.20 vs. 0.73 0.30 group (p = 0.006). decreased age, showing significant inverse correlation (r -0.55). Myopia is a refractive error widely spread throughout the world, usually related to excessive axial length (AL) of eye. This elongation could have severe consequences, even leading blindness. However, AL varies among subjects, and it may be correlated with other anthropometric parameters. The aim this study was evaluate relationships between AL, body height, error, sex. A total 72 eyes 36 myopic participants mean age 11.1 ± 1.42 years (ranging from 8 14 years) were included in study. Background: To evaluate the effects of 10% GlicoPro tear substitute therapy in patients with severe dry eye disease (DED). Methods: In this prospective longitudinal study, 30 individuals receiving four times daily for DED were evaluated. The ocular surface index (OSDI) questionnaire, average non-invasive break-up time (A-NIBUT), non-anesthetic and anesthetic corneal esthesiometry (CE), pain, presence conjunctivochalasis (CCH) used as clinical endpoints. Treatment compliance using dosing diaries AEs was assessed. Autoimmune thyroid diseases (ATDs) are potentially connected to lacrimal gland dysfunction and ocular surface disruption. This study aimed evaluate the relationships between ATD, dry eye disease (DED), corneal damage. In a matched nationwide cohort study, we used Taiwan's National Health Insurance research database compare incidences of DED damage subjects with without ATD. Multivariable Cox proportional hazards regression models were estimate adjusted hazard ratio (aHR) 95% confidence interval (CI) for ophthalmological outcomes. The present study aimed to assess the agreement of three commercially available devices on measurement anterior chamber depth (ACD) with and without compensation by central corneal thickness (CCT).
