This study examined the numerous practices employed by school heads in enhancing literacy skills of Grades 1-3 learners today’s educational setting. It aimed to answer questions about existing problems skills, methods and approaches used teachers address these emerging improve learners. Using quantitative research design, data were gathered among 40 3rd congressional district Masbate province. utilized two surveys: analyzed results using Five-Point Likert scale. tool evaluated teachers’ addressing early-grade The revealed that reading comprehension spelling are identified as most significant challenges learners, meanwhile, alphabet knowledge is least encountered problem.
