This study aims to enhance understanding of the trauma backgrounds children in asylums and offer possibilities for healing. Studying chronic or developmental is a relatively new growing field psychology which offers important changes perspective treatment. This review explores how climate change is manifesting along existing lines of inequality and thus further exacerbating current health disparities with a particular focus on children future generations. Climate risk vulnerability are not equally distributed, nor the adaptive capacity to respond its adverse effects, which include consequences, economic impacts, displacement. Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, high numbers Ukrainians, mostly women and children, have left country. As today, Germany has accepted more than one million refugees fleeing from including ~200,000 children adolescents registered German schools. refugee minors are typically affected by rates mental health issues, identification potential psychological problems at an early stage after arrival is essential order to make timely referrals for vulnerable youth diagnostic or treatment services possible. The aim present study was test feasibility a classroom-based screening procedure assess symptoms PTSD, depression, anxiety small sample who had fled Germany. Forty-two (n = 20 girls) took part study. Screening results showed that half elevated ratings Refugee Health Screener (RHS) about 45% reported clinically significant levels PTSD. ABSTRACT This article presents the findings of a study examining resettlement experiences displaced families in Norway, focusing on children's development opportunities and well‐being. ABSTRACT In European studies, immigrant‐origin adolescents report more mental health symptoms than natives do. The school is an important developmental context for them, and research needed about how their experience related to symptoms, whether these relations vary by group. aim of this study was assess the prevalence depressive association with among native preadolescents attending fourth fifth grades primary school. Whole‐population surveys three time points (2017, 2019, 2021, N = 259,382, which 14,930 immigrant‐origin) were used. Immigrant‐origin grouped birth country parents first‐ second‐generation, forced voluntary immigrant groups. Depressive most often reported first‐generation followed second generation counterparts. Sense belonging protective factor bullying risk in relation symptoms. Positive experiences beneficial turn, negative detrimental preadolescents.

Abstract Aim: To assess the impact of a person-centred culturally sensitive approach in primary care on recognition and discussion mental distress refugee youth. Background: Refugee minors are at risk for health problems. Timely treatment prevent deterioration. Primary is first point contact where these problems could be discussed. However, staff struggle to discuss with refugees. Guided by needs refugees professionals we developed implemented Empowerment intervention, consisting training, guidance interprofessional collaboration four general practices Netherlands. Methods: This mixed-method study consisted quantitative cohort semi-structured interviews. The intervention was stepped wedge design. Patient records youth controls were analysed descriptively regarding number contacts, conversations, diagnosis, before after start intervention. Semi-structured interviews experiences held parents, practitioners, nurses, other participants local groups. Findings: A total 152 included. Discussions about significantly less often than (16 versus 38 discussions/1000 patient-years) but increased substantially, relatively more control group, 47 patient-years (compared 71 controls) implementation programme. much appreciated all involved, GP felt able provide care. Conclusion: Person-centred practice, including an introductory meeting refugees, combination collaboration, indeed results discussions practice. Amaç: Araştırma ortaokul öğrencilerinin mülteci öğrencilere yönelik tutumlarını saptamak amacıyla yapılmıştır. Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı türdeki çalışma, bir il merkezinde öğrencilerin yoğunlukta olduğu üç ortaokulda yürütülmüştür. Çalışma, Mart-Nisan 2023 tarihlerinde belirlenen ortaokullarda 2022-2023 eğitim döneminde öğrenim gören ve Türk uyruğuna sahip toplam 702 öğrenciye ulaşılarak tamamlanmıştır. Veriler, “Kişisel Bilgi Formu” “Mülteci Öğrencilere Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği” ile toplanmıştır. SPSS paket programı kullanılarak değerlendirilmiştir. Bulgular: Çalışmaya katılan öğrenciler, tutum ölçeğinden 48.91±11.60 puan almışlardır.
