ABSTRACT LGBTIQ+ research acknowledges shared experiences of groups marginalized due to gender identities, sexualities, and sex characteristics. This universalist coalition approach has resulted in much affirmational progressive policy development. However, it risks homogenizing the unique needs specific groups; a risk lessened by particularist subgroup approach. In this theoretical paper, we reflect on challenges or considering interdependencies boundaries between sex, gender, sexuality‐based identities. Through tracing historical development activism using examples from intersex studies, intersectionality, political actions, explore tensions collective identities that make up acronym. We further offer suggestions for reimagining research, advocating community‐driven approaches respect situated knowledge individuals, use adaptable inclusive practices bridge academia aim improve lives marginalized.

Compounding systems of marginalization differentiate and shape water-related risks. Yet, quantitative water security scholarship rarely assesses such risks through intersectionality, a paradigm that conceptualizes examines racial, gendered, class, other oppressions as interdependent. Using an intersectionality approach, we analyze the relationships between household head gender self-reported socio-economic status, affordability (proportion monthly income spent on water) insecurity (a composite measure 11 experiences) for over 4000 households across 18 low- middle-income countries in Central South America, Africa, Asia. Interaction terms categorical variables were included regression models, adjusting putative confounders. Among with high proportion differed by gender. In contrast, greater was associated lower status did not meaningfully vary head. We contextualize interpret these experiences larger power privilege. Overall, our results provide evidence broad intersectional patterns from diverse sites, while indicating their nature magnitude depend local contexts. Through critical reflection study’s value limitations, including operationalization social contexts different propose methodological approaches to advance multi-sited research insecurity. These include developing scale-appropriate analyzing complementarities differences site-specific data, collecting data gendered relations, measuring impacts

With rapid advancements in large language models (LLMs), generative AI (GenAI) is transforming people's life and work across various domains. Unlike previous technologies that are often feminized, most of these GenAI tools non-gendered, potentially preventing users from applying gender stereotypes. However, GenAI's use natural can evoke social perceptions including attribution, making it susceptible to associations. Using two online experiments, we explored how removal could mitigate individuals' stereotypes toward it, certain linguistic cues trigger even if non-gendered. Results Supporting preregistered hypotheses, individual‐level individual‐ family‐level predicted life satisfaction symptoms. Couple‐level but not symptoms, neither.
