This study focused on optimizing the effect of recycled medical glass (RMG) performance high-strength alkali-activated concrete (AAC) at different scales. RMG was incorporated into AACs to substitute a portion precursor, followed by addition fine and coarse replace river sand, respectively. Thus, effects these variables compressive strength, splitting water absorption using simplex centroid design method were examined. Additionally, freezing-thawing, carbonation resistance, residual strength elevated temperatures investigated. The experimental results showed that had strengths between 46.8 102.0 MPa, tensile 6.20 13.60 2.93 4.82%. optimized significant increment in high as compared control mixture. AAC with may provide compact microstructure low porosity enhance freeze-thaw resistance. Finally, outcomes ecological evaluation support usage sustainable building construction material.

The ongoing COVID-19 disease significantly affects not only human health, it also the wealth of country' economy and everyday routine life. To control spread virus, face mask is used as primary personal protective equipment (PPE). Thus, production usage masks increase pandemic still escalating. Further, most these contain plastics or other derivatives plastics. Therefore, this extensive generates million tons plastic wastes to environments in a short span time. This study aims investigate environmental impact induced by sustainable solution reduce waste. An online survey was carried out identify types number per week an individual from 1033 people. Based on available literature, quantifies amount waste generated masks. However, limited with certain ages, country durations (July-August 2020). prediction generation, provide fundamental knowledge about wastes. Results revealed that there huge remained land marine environment form waste, which will contribute micro-plastic pollution. paper highlights approach integrating use natural plant fiber woven technology upcycling producing construction materials discussed.

Majority of the million tons plastic produced each year is being disposed after single-use. Plastic bottle, bags, food containers, gloves, and cup that end up in landfills environment could linger for hundreds to thousands years. Moreover, COVID-19 pandemic caused by novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2), will also exacerbate global pollution as use personal protective equipment (PPE i.e., masks) became mandatory prevent spread virus. eventually breaking down micro & nanoscopic bits due physical or chemical biological actions environment, can enter animal human web. So, management programs need be more robust with a focus on prevention nanoplastics entrance into In present situation, it even necessary know about how much waste generated different countries are coping their management. this review, we have elucidated production rise during would contribute short long-term impacts environment. increase GHS emissions incineration facilities. Improper disposal plastics oceans lands endanger marine species subsequently lives. We assessed increased aggravate nanoscale problem, which now become an emerging concern. This review helpful people understand usage its subsequent consequences like COVID-19.
