experiments.

or
RNAi,

Planar
polarity

the
mechanisms
by
which
they
regulate

poorly
understood.

Drosophila
pupal
wing,
we
confirm
that
stress
promotes
proximal-distal
(PD)
alignment.
Moreover,
high
anisotropy
can
reduce
rate
accumulation
lower
stability
on
cell
junctions

protein
Frizzled
(Fz).
