GSH is one of the most important reducing agents in biological systems. The depletion human body linked to many diseases. Therefore, it necessary develop suitable and efficient probes for detecting concentrations real samples. In this work, we designed synthesized two near-infrared emitting iridium(III) complex containing a novel ligand functionalized with an α,β-unsaturated ketone rapid sensitive detection GSH. molecular structure Ir2 was determined by X-ray crystallography. Due their large Stokes shift, long luminescence lifetime NIR emission, these were successfully applied imaging living cells. addition, complexes have strong singlet oxygen generation ability which can be used photodynamic therapy (PDT) upon visible light irradiation. On basis findings, our may serve as HeLa cell photosensitizers PDT.

Abstract An “on‐off‐on” reversible fluorescent probe for response to GSH and H 2 O determination was designed synthesized. Considering the important role of in biological system commonly applied recognition groups, C═C bond coumarin dye successfully used as site. This showed fast (within 5 s) high sensitivity (12.6 nM) process. It could be not only quantitative GSH, but also fluorescence imaging cells. In addition, , which repeated at least 3 times. The experimental results proved that modified from recognized with significant results.
