A growing literature shows that confinement policies used by governments to slow COVID-19 transmission have negative impacts on mental health, but the differential effects of individual health remain poorly understood. Most governments have enacted physical or social distancing measures to control COVID-19 transmission. Yet little is known about the socio-economic trade-offs of these measures, especially for vulnerable populations, who are exposed increased risks and susceptible adverse health outcomes. To examine impacts on most in society, this scoping review screened 39,816 records synthesised results from 265 studies worldwide documenting negative older people, children/students, low-income migrant workers, people prison, with disabilities, sex victims domestic violence, refugees, ethnic minorities, sexual gender minorities. We show that prolonged loneliness, mental distress, unemployment, income loss, food insecurity, widened inequality disruption access support services were unintended consequences impacted groups highlight exacerbated vulnerabilities different populations.

The worldwide spread of SARS-CoV-2 has been responsible for an infectious pandemic, with repercussions on socio-economic aspects and the physical mental health general population. present systematic review aimed to evaluate data belonging European framework, analyzing population by age group. This study aimed to examine depressive symptoms associated with interpersonal sensitivity, sleep quality, and psychological capital among postgraduate students during static campus management after the COVID-19 pandemic in China.Research data were obtained (10-19 April 2022) reappearance of cities eastern China. Using the 8th wave of SHARE and Corona Survey, we investigated whether disruption parent–adult child contacts due to social distancing restrictions increased symptoms depression among old age individuals during first COVID-19 pandemic. We model relationship between mental health elderly using a recursive simultaneous equation for binary variables. Our findings show that likelihood was higher with adult children who do not live or close their parents (i.e., in same household building) whom contact increases about 15 %.
