Abstract Using a panel data set from 2007 to 2019, we empirically evaluate the impact of carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) technology innovation on green total factor productivity (GTFP). The findings show that (1) CCUS significantly improves GTFP. (2) contributes GTFP by promoting industrial structure upgrading emissions efficiency. (3) Environmental regulation plays positive moderating role in nexus between this paper provide guidance for China achieve energy transition build system.

The need to prioritize sustainable development is expanding in light of the world's environmental concerns. To address these concerns, entrepreneurship essential as a catalyst for inventions, economic expansion, and social change. Entrepreneurship activities have direct indirect effects face risks uncertainties. This study addresses gaps understanding entrepreneurship's non-linear complementarity effects, particularly opportunity-driven information communication technologies (ICT), on quality environment Saudi Arabia. dynamic ordinary least squares (DOLS) method used estimate long-run relationships. Arabia will be perfect context sustainability because country has prioritized through its Vision 2030, government substantially supported entrepreneurship. main contribution this paper existing literature evident examination quadratic relationships between both ICT diffusion, including access, use, skills, quality. In addition, delves into diffusion's modulating nexus opportunity with quality, providing insights how factors can effectively improve findings show that diffusion initially deteriorate before leading improvements their levels mature economy. Moreover, interactions proxies yield mixed negative net CO2 emissions ecological footprint countered by positive performance index. These highlight dual role contributor challenges potential solution, depending level interaction entrepreneurial activities. Therefore, policymakers should create plans encourage business activity toward more environmentally friendly methods. They also consider short- long-term growing digital they might revolutionize goals are aligned.
