Abundant

lives.
However,
many
studies
have
found
that

it

people
fun,

psychological
problems.
This
study
aims
to
address
problems
occur
in

propose
ways
reduce
impact
By
reading
existing
literature,
combined
with
network
data
current
environment,
this
article
finds
out
will
after
using
video
platforms,
such
as
blurring
boundaries
between
reality
virtual
behavior,
one-sided
videos
increasing
anxiety.
After
analyzing
problems,

regulatory
capabilities.

Short-video
addiction
(SVA)
has
become
a
growing
concern
among
adolescents.
Bullying
victimization
(BV)
is
considered
significant
factor
contributing
to
it,
yet
its
relationship
with
SVA
remains
underexplored.
This
study
investigated
the
role
of
BV
in
SVA,
examining
developmental
and
psychological
pathways
across
middle
school
students
(MSS;
n
=
1269),
college
(CS;
1615)
replicated
sample
(RCS;
112).
Descriptive
statistics
revealed
correlations
between
BV,
including
subdimensions
such
as
verbal,
physical
relational
bullying,
well
negative
affect
(NA).
Mediation
analyses
showed
that
NA
partially
mediated
both
MSS
CS
groups,
although
mediation
effects
were
absent
addicted
subgroups,
highlighting
differing
nonaddicted
populations.
Neuroimaging
RCS
identified
spontaneous
functional
brain
activity
linked
inferior
temporal
gyrus
(ITG)
parahippocampal
(PHG),
intersubject
representational
similarity
(IS-RSA)
further
associating
PHG
dorsomedial
prefrontal
cortex
(DMPFC)
patterns
variations
SVA.
These
findings
underscore
bullying
critical
predictor
short
video
addiction,
by
illuminate
associated
addiction.

The
business
ecosystem
surrounding
user-generated
videos
(UGVs)
is
rapidly
expanding.
However,
existing
literature
on
the
motivations
for
UGV
consumption
presents
inconsistencies
in
findings.
This
study
aims
to
apply
a
meta-analytic
approach
synthesize
determinants
of
viewership,
moderators
accounting
variance
effect
sizes,
and
theories
elucidating
these
associations.
Through
systematic
search
up
March
2023
five
academic
databases,
46
studies
were
included
meta-analysis.
Within
extant
literature,
145
antecedents
viewership
examined.
They
covered
two
broad
categories
video/platform
attributes
human
factors
(i.e.,
user/viewer-related,
streamer/host-related,
socio-cultural).
quantitative
synthesis
72
correlation
coefficients,
from
48
independent
samples
with
total
22,165
consumers,
demonstrated
that
attitude,
entertainment,
escapism,
flow,
information
seeking,
perceived
usefulness,
social
interaction,
time
spent
watching,
usage
satisfaction
significantly
affected
spectatorship.
Compared
factors,
features
UGVs
hosting
platforms
are
under-researched.
Subgroup
analyses
unveiled
moderating
roles
type
viewer
gender.
To
better
customize
different
segments,
more
insights
into
interactions
among
video
formats,
genres,
platform
functionalities,
needed.

Short
video
platforms
have
rapidly
become
a
prominent
form
of
social
media,
but
their
problematic
use
is
increasingly
concerning.
This
review
synthesizes
existing
research
to
propose
comprehensive
framework
that
integrates
individual,
social-environmental,
and
platform-related
factors
contributing
this
issue.
Individual

categorized
into
distal
(e.g.,
personality,
psychopathology)
proximal
usage
expectations,
cognitive,
emotional,
behavioral
responses
during
use)

with

Short
video
applications
have
gained
increasing
prominence
as
pivotal
channels
for
information
acquisition
and
knowledge
dissemination,

attention

a

adoption
on
TikTok
remains
insufficient.
We
combine
flow
experience
theory
to
construct
novel
theoretical
model
investigating
antecedents
intentions
within
realm
short
applications.

386
data
were
collected
from
TikTok’s
users
analyzed
using
partial
least
squares
(PLS)
approach.

accuracy,
serendipity,
perceived
ease

In
the
digital
age,
human-algorithm
interaction
has
become
ubiquitous.
The
popularity
of
short-form
video
apps
led
to
greater
access
and
experience
with
algorithmic
recommender
systems,
but
it
also
exposed
their
potential
problems
dark
sides.
However,
there
is
still
limited
knowledge
about
side
over-recommendation
from
perspective
user
perception,
especially
regarding
negative
impact
on
users'
psychology
behavior.
Drawing
social
cognitive
theory,
this
study
constructed
a
theoretical
model
investigate
how
information
environment
factors
influence
dissonance
discontinuance
intention
under
antecedent
dimension
perceived
over-recommendation.

tested
using
partial
least
squares
structural
equation
modeling
322
valid
questionnaires
users

results
showed
that
when
over-recommendation,
narrowing,
redundancy,
overload,
privacy
