As a critical aspect of corporate financing strategies, high-quality trade credit has been acknowledged as favorable indicator for external stakeholders. Given the increasing prominence sustainable development, it is worthwhile to explore whether an advanced environmental management system facilitates attainment business operations. Therefore, respond this question, study utilizes panel data spanning from 2012 2021, comprising Chinese listed firms in four energy and environment-related sectors, with dimension score CSI ESG scoring employed categorizing sample into high low governance groups. The results reconcile conflicting studies find inverted U-shaped effect between bank loans lower levels governance. Within domain characterized by higher governance, two are substituted each other. In addition, introduces Shapely decomposition method first time quantify contribution loans. Drawing these findings, we proposed practical advice firms, financial institutions, government on how choose against background development.

The construction sector, responsible for over one-third of global carbon emissions, is increasingly focusing on hemp-based materials to alleviate the environmental impact in built environment; however, lack information and streamlined processes hinder widespread adoption. By conducting a comprehensive review state-of-the-art research, this study explores vast potential across environment, encompassing building transportation applications. In study, material properties application hemp lime concrete buildings, along with fibre asphalt highways, are discussed, crucial research gaps technical challenges identified. Employing holistic sustainability approach, evaluation considers economic, social, factors. Notable projects presented as case studies, emphasising their credentials. Furthermore, technoeconomic scrutinised, effective solutions proposed. Beyond its role wall material, hempcrete's significant insulation highlighted due exceptional hygrothermal properties. also shows promise enhancing mix pavement construction. Evidence from life cycle analysis supports claim that hempcrete can be considered carbon-negative material. Moreover, findings indicate industry has yield various macroeconomic socio-economic advantages, including job creation, energy access, alleviating cost energy, improved societal health well-being.

In China, traditional buildings have begun to exhibit a range of issues, such as elevated levels energy consumption and pollution. Consequently, these concerns led substantial resource inefficiency environmental degradation. The evaluation examination green are utmost importance in promoting sustainable development. current building assessment framework is intricate lacks sufficient development terms visual representation. Developing strategy during the initial design phase multifaceted process that necessitates allocation human, material, financial, temporal resources. this study, we propose an incorporates 15 s-level 45 three-level indicator system, along with 4-level classification standard. This developed based on most recent Chinese Assessment Standard for Green Building utilization Information Modeling (BIM) database. Furthermore, integration BIM Pathfinder software employed assess safety aspects buildings. On top that, combination Ecotect utilized evaluate performed case study teaching located at university central specifically focusing simulation practices. sequential calculation involves determining duration personnel evacuation, assessing lighting conditions, evaluating thermal analyzing sound examining wind conditions. addition, efforts were made optimize indicators requiring enhancement order enhance efficacy

The development of prefabricated construction in China has encountered challenges that prevent it from fully realizing its potential advantages. To overcome the challenges, this research examines implementation lean management building projects as a strategic approach to enhance their performance. Initially, study casual links between driving factors and performance indicators buildings by employing structural equation model. Moreover, fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method is used assess selected across four dimensions: project schedule, quality, cost safety. Furthermore, through analysis above, paper proposes enhancement path for based on key management. identifies 23 16 indicators. 13 are identified, including (1) accurate positioning project, (2) identification product market demand, (3) modular collaborative design plan, (4) component production plant standardization, (5) procurement costs reduction, (6) distance transportation (7) program (8) assembly reduction waste elimination, (9) parallel construction, (10) technology technology, (11) internal incentive mechanism organization, (12) culture cultivation training, (13) support senior In addition, buildings. findings contribute theoretical knowledge offer valuable guidance practical implementation.

The effective selection of highway projects is essential for driving economic growth and facilitating trade in Saudi Arabia’s cities. However, current studies lack a comprehensive approach that assesses highways based on full spectrum economic, environmental, social cost–benefit factors tailored to construction industry. This study addresses this gap by developing framework incorporates the aspects. methodology comprises five steps: (1) literature review identify benefit cost criteria; (2) expert surveys select significant (3) application stepwise weight assessment ratio analysis (SWARA) method determine criteria weights; (4) structured interviews establish quality (5) validation through three case studies, comparing results with those obtained using ANP method. findings show economically efficient road choices yield increased productivity support industrial growth, while most environmental reducing carbon emissions. Social benefits, as emphasized experts, include accident reduction. Cost are also considered, savings vehicle operation costs identified significant, opined surveyed. Among analyzed highways, Khurais Road, Riyadh, was from SWARA approach, value 0.8, conducted, normalized score 0.045 0.230 both benefits criteria.
