The global push towards sustainable energy usage and the increasing adoption of renewable sources, such as solar power, requires innovative approaches to management, particularly in energy-intensive sectors education. This study proposes a change school start time from 7 a.m. 9 align operational hours with periods off-peak electricity demand maximum availability. Four scenarios are compared: baseline (current schedule without solar), shifted solar, integration. analysis reveals that shifting school’s alone leads peak reduction 40%, mitigating strain on grid during high-demand periods. Solar integration has less pronounced effect (26%). combination delivers most significant benefits, highest cost reductions (28%) (60%). demonstrates synchronised generation optimised scheduling can enhance efficiency long-term financial savings, offering practical solution for reducing costs improving sustainability schools. how public institutions contribute transition by adapting their schedules availability, rather than relying conventional fixed schedules.

This paper examines the integration of AI and data technologies into sustainable urban development, emphasizing Norway's unique cultural environmental context. It first explores how concepts like trust sustainability inform planning operations. Then, study assesses AI's potential to enhance and, through case studies, it identifies challenges opportunities in adopting these technologies. Finally, proposes a Nordic requirement framework for integration, promoting aligned with values adaptable broader European contexts.
