Climate change is worsening across the region, exacerbating energy crisis, while traditional centralized systems struggle to meet people’s needs. Globally, countries are actively responding this dual challenge of climate and demand. In September 2020, China introduced a carbon target “Carbon peak neutrality”. Since then, it has consistently encouraged supported innovative research on reduction conservation through its resource policies. Distributed (DESs) gaining favor in various due their promising applications environmental realms, particularly light current imperatives for conservation, emission reduction, relevant This paper provides retrospective analysis recent DESs, conducts systematic classification statistical overview DES implementations, offers insightful recommendations future prospects advancement DESs.

The proposed study investigates the feasibility of integrating solar, wind, and battery storage systems into electric vehicle charging infrastructure in three villages surrounding Sidhwan Bet, Ludhiana: Bet Village, Fattuwal Dhandra Village. Locations have been preselected based on proximity, land availability, energy requirements. Data was collected for solar irradiance, wind speed, capacities, economic environmental parameters. Applying MCDM technique, research focused potential each location generation, financial viability, ecological benefits using TOPSIS method. analysis shows that Village is most viable site, which provides maximum annual production 500,000 kWh, very reliable at 95%, with an NPV INR 20,000,000, shortest payback period 7 years.

Hybrid energy storage system (HESS) can support integrated (IES) under multiple time scales. To address the diversity of new sources and loads, a multi-objective configuration frame for HESS is proposed comprehensive source-load conditions. First, IES operation model minimizing electricity purchase rate planning levelised cost average reserve idle are established. Then, full condition scenarios based on APC, scheme optimised by NSGA-III TOPSIS method. Finally, compared with single scene, rated power capacity BESS differ 5.46 times 6.1 times, respectively. Based full-condition scenarios, integrate various operating conditions effectively avoid limitations The accounts 9.06% plays dominant role at 74.82%.
