The analytic Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is a well-established methodology for tackling complex multi-criteria decision problems in practical contexts. However, like many decision-making approaches, AHP confronts certain limitations, particularly scenarios where evaluations are fraught with uncertainty and imprecision. This study sets out to enhance the capabilities of method provide comprehensive evaluation public bus transport service quality within Budapest, Hungary. To address inherent uncertainties real-world decision-making, leverages Fuzzy (FAHP), fusion Set Theory traditional AHP. novel approach equips decision-makers more robust framework handle multifaceted nature problems. grounded empirical data obtained through dynamic surveys, ensuring its relevance actual conditions experienced Budapest. Expert evaluators, well-versed field, contribute their assessments enrich analysis. FAHP doesn't just promise improved outcomes; it also champions simplicity comprehensibility. Its computational efficiency streamlines process, providing powerful tool evaluating quality, thereby offering significant contribution sustainable development Budapest's transportation system.

Abstract In recent decades, the acceleration of climate change has posed significant challenges to policy makers. Transport systems are important for economy, urban development, and daily life activities, but they also have a negative impact on human health natural environment. Latin America, prevailing approach transport land use planning continues favour faster, longer more private motorised trips. Therefore, policy-making aid tools with sustainability necessary meet international commitments. Despite existence numerous scientific works evaluation sustainable mobility, few applied American systems. this paper proposes Sustainable Urban Mobility Indicators LATin AMerica (SUMI-LATAM), developed using Slow cities concept, which advocates slower cities lesser intensity. A systematic literature review was conducted develop SUMI-LATAM, is composed 5 dimensions, 21 categories, 50 indicators. The reveals that walking cycling, being alternative modes, still underestimated underrepresented in most reviewed studies. New systems, such as smart electric vehicles, shared 20% works. common framework composite indexes (50%), followed by indicator´s (16%), multicriteria decision making methods (14%). contributes identifying, categorising, integrating current transportation “slow cities” approach.

Presently, financial institutions have tentatively utilized supply chain finance as a means of assessing small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) credit rating. However, traditional techniques cannot satisfy the requirements such assessments because need to assess SME rating from perspective core rather than only SME. In this study, hybrid technique with quantitative qualitative criteria called multi-phase quality function deployment (QFD)-based MULTIMOORA under interval type-2 fuzzy set (IT2FS) is proposed overcome defects techniques. First, values were converted into IT2FSs using developed formulas. Second, QFD model obtain matrix by integrating criterion relationship matrices among SME, enterprises chains. Third, IT2FS-MULTIMOORA enhanced considering improved Borda Rule extended reference point simultaneously derive final rankings; therefore, weight-determining presented based on correlation coefficients. Finally, was applied assessment problem. Comparisons other sensitivity analysis results provide suggestions for loans SMEs. First published online 31 March 2025

Cities, crucial cultural hubs, mould individual and group identities. The global urban expansion, with over half the population in areas, presents interconnected challenges such as pollution, poverty, inequality, ageing infrastructure, resource overconsumption, land use changes, biodiversity impact climate change. Addressing these demands ambitious actions targeting political, social economic systems for transformative theoretical framework guiding city transformation centres on an interdisciplinary approach influenced by Smart Green Transition. ‘15-minute city’ concept, emphasizing human scale experience, proposes that cities enable residents to meet daily needs within a short walk or bike ride. aim of this study was exploration its implementation Greek cities, particularly Thessaloniki, which reveals inherent characteristics supporting 15-minute concept. Through rooted Transition framework, research provides concrete guidance policymakers tailoring planning strategies, allocating resources effectively crafting policies conducive successful sustainable transformations. Moreover, prioritizing public engagement highlights significance community involvement shaping development plans, ensuring proposed initiatives align residents’ desires. In essence, contributes tangible insights actionable recommendations paving way more liveable, resilient environments.

In the realm of contemporary logistics, criticality intermodal terminals as central nodes for seamless cargo transitions between various transportation modes is well-recognized. This study focuses on strategic integration Industry 4.0 (I4.0) technologies to advance operational efficiency these terminals. A hybrid Multiple Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) methodology, amalgamating Best-Worst Method (BWM) and Axial Distance based Aggregated Measurement (ADAM), employed a systematic evaluation. approach facilitates identification prioritization key I4.0 technologies. Findings this underscore paramount importance Internet Things (IoT), Artificial Ambient Intelligence, Autonomous Automated Guided Vehicles in revolutionizing terminal efficiency. The efficacy proposed model demonstrated its capacity generate practical, insightful recommendations technology selection, thereby guiding stakeholders making informed investments. These investments are projected significantly enhance capabilities and, by extension, overall supply chain. contribution lies addressal existing research gap concerning applicability selection transport (ITTs). It offers novel, pragmatic framework within logistics sector, aimed at facilitating modernization optimization operations. insights directions provided herein anticipated be substantial value those endeavoring navigate complexities era I4.0.
