With rapid global urbanization and economic development, 3D concrete printing (3DCP) technology has emerged as an innovative construction method, garnering increasing attention application. Compared to traditional techniques, 3DCP not only reduces resource waste carbon emissions during the building process but also significantly enhances efficiency, demonstrating considerable potential in industry. As advances from theoretical studies real-world applications, providing stable reliable structural reinforcement solutions becomes essential. This paper focuses on examining various methods improve performance of 3D-printed (3DPC) structures. The analysis shows that using steel bars, combination with other materials (mainly fibers nanomaterials), remains a key strategy for enhancement. By integrating diverse methods, this study proposes bidirectional mesh layout scheme. Additionally, given unique nature 3DPC construction, critical review improving interface bonding strength is included. These findings aim guide engineering community selecting suitable 3DPC.

Business intelligence is a new approach to helping project managers and personnel make correct, informed decisions through preparing series of analytical reports in management dashboard by analysing mining all the related data. This study aimed investigate effect business on performance construction projects Iran mediating variable quality management. In contrast prior research that has evaluated aforementioned variables isolation, current introduced comprehensive structural model interrelationships among intelligence, management, performance. employed descriptive–correlational methodology utilising equation modelling, involving sample 102 Iranian industry specialists recruited convenience sampling. Data were gathered using standardised questionnaires analysed with modelling (SEM) Smart-PLS regression analysis SPSS software. The SEM indicated significantly enhances (β = 0.534, p < 0.01) influences 0.743, positively affects 0.396, 0.01). Purpose This study explores the revolutionary potential of merging building information modeling (BIM) and ultra-high performance concrete (UHPC) in prefabricated shell design, aiming to redefine architectural landscape. Design/methodology/approach The employs a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative analysis structural data with qualitative case studies real-world applications. Specific methods include finite element (FEA) for assessing integrity interviews industry experts gather insights on practical implementation. Findings integration BIM UHPC enables design structures that are efficient, sustainable architecturally innovative. Key findings improved load-bearing capacity, reduced material usage enhanced flexibility. Research limitations/implications focuses technical aspects, limited exploration economic or regulatory factors. Future research could address these areas provide more comprehensive understanding. Practical implications offer valuable architects, engineers construction professionals, demonstrating how can enhance efficiency, sustainability aesthetic appeal designs. Social adoption promotes creation robust eco-friendly built environments, contributing societal well-being through carbon footprints. Originality/value provides novel perspective synergistic use UHPC, offering justifications empirical expert testimonials highlight unique advantages this modern construction.
