The 2022 flood events in Quetta, Pakistan, caused severe damage to the economy, properties, and lives. Therefore, risk mapping identify flood-prone areas is essential for planners decision-makers take critical protective measures control effects of flooding. This study focuses on regions Quetta district Pakistan using an analytical hierarchy process (AHP) a geographic information system (GIS). factors influencing used present were topographic witness index (TWI), elevation, slope, land use, cover, precipitation, stream distance, drainage density, soil type. Weights ranks allocated separately all through AHP interpreted GIS environment. produced hazard model area depicted four zones. These zones ranged from low (19.49%), moderate (43.34%), high (28.30%), very (8.87%). was further validated previous area. Around 90% past took place mainly model's zones, which why current reliable. Finally, integrating geospatial approaches with quick, reliable, affordable method that may be utilized
