Zeolite-based
materials
are
widely
used
as
adsorbents
and
catalysts
for
purifying
air
pollutants
like
NOx
VOCs
due
to
abundant
pore
structure,
regular
distribution,
numerous
ion
exchange
sites.
Thermal
treatment
is
a
necessary
procedure
both
removing
impurities
in
pores
promoting
the
metal
active
dispersed
evenly
before
zeolite-based
adsorbents/catalysts
were
applied
NOx/VOCs.
Nevertheless,
conventional
thermal
field
(i.e.,
high-temperature
calcination,
purging,
etc.)
takes
large
energy
consumption.
In
contrast,
unconventional
external-field
treatments
such
non-thermal
plasma
microwave
show
significant
advantages
of
high
efficiency,
low
consumption
well
pollution,
which
substitute
traditional
many
fields.
this
paper,
roles
or
adsorption/catalysis
NOx/VOCs
reviewed
from
three
aspects
assisting
activation
materials,
cooperative
catalysis
process,
zeolites
synthesis.
The
reasons
improving
textural
properties,
sites,
performance,
etc.
illuminated
detail.
Moreover,
influences
various
parameters
power,
time,
temperature,
on
above
elaborated.
It
hoped
that
review
could
provide
some
advanced
guidance
researchers
develop
highly
efficient
materials.

Zeolites,
a
group
of
minerals
with
unique
properties,
have
been
known
for
more
than
250
years.
However,
it
was
the
development
methods
hydrothermal
synthesis
zeolites
and
their
large-scale
industrial
applications
(oil
processing,
agriculture,
production
detergents
building
materials,
water
treatment
processes,
etc.)
that
made
them
one
most
important
materials

significance.

in

Abstract
The
high
toxicity,
volatility,
and
dispersion
of
the
light
aromatics,
benzene,
toluene,
xylene
(BTX)
pose
a
serious
threat
to
environment
human
health.
Compared
incineration,
catalytic
oxidation
technologies
for
BTX
removal
offer
benefits
such
as
low
energy
consumption,
efficiency,
pollution.
ABO
3
–type
perovskite
catalysts
(ABO
–PCs)
are
particularly
promising
materials
due
their
activity
thermal
stability,
well
adjustable
elemental
composition
flexible
structure
allowing
properties
be
improved.
Nonetheless,
full
potential
–PCs
has
yet
reached.
This
review
systematically
critically
analyses
progress
in
by
–PCs.
Catalytic
performance
is
assessed
each
category
perovskite,
including
non–doped,
doped
(A–,
B–,
or
A/B–site
doped),
loading
type
(noble
metal,
metal
oxide,
matrix
composite),
with
structure–activity
relationships
established.
A
kinetic
model
proposed
mechanism
also
presented.
Finally,
challenges
opportunities
applied
other
reactions
highlighted.

the

comprehensive
understanding

pollutant.

risks,
including
an
estimated

deaths
annually
due
to
exposure,
millions
people
in
major
countries
continue
be
exposed
unhealthy
levels.
Notably,
epidemiological
evidence
linking
long-term
exposure
outcomes
limited
compared
short-term
studies,
leaving
some
findings
incomplete.
Regulatory
standards
vary
globally,
implementation

recommendation

remaining

leading
disparities

Emissions
from
diesel

are
