The
understanding
of
antibiotic
resistance,
one

health
threats
our
time,
is
mostly
based
on
dated
and
incomplete
notions,
especially
in
clinical
contexts.

mechanisms

to
assess
their
activity
upon
bacteria,
have
not
changed
decades;

acquisition,

Antibiotic
resistance
represents
a
growing
public
health
threat,
with
airborne
drug-resistant
strains
being
especially
alarming
due
to
their
ease
of
transmission
and
association
severe
respiratory
infections.
The
microbiome
plays
pivotal
role
in
maintaining
health,
influencing
the
dynamics
antibiotic
among
pathogenic
microorganisms.
In
this
context,
review
proposes
exploration
complex
interplay
between
microbiota
antimicrobial
resistance,
highlighting
implications
diversity
disease.
Moreover,
strategies
mitigate
including
stewardship
programs,
alternatives
traditional
antibiotics,
probiotics,
restoration
techniques,
nanotechnology-based
therapeutic
interventions,
are
critically
presented,
setting
an
updated
framework
current
management
options.
Therefore,
through
better
understanding
roles
alongside
emerging
strategies,
paper
aims
shed
light
on
how
global
challenges
posed
by
multi-drug-resistant
pathogens
can
be
addressed.

fertilizer
in
farmland,
