This study developed a microporous silica nanosilver antioxidant material (GT-Ag@MSN) from waste photovoltaic (PV) cells by incorporating plant polyphenols in the situ synthesis. The biosynthesized GT-Ag@MSN had an average size of 296.5 nm, pore 1.96 and Ag loading 1.45%. was further evaluated through antibacterial tests, capacity reducing power assay. exhibited minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) 20 mg/mL for Escherichia coli Staphylococcus aureus, bactericidal (MBC) 50 both them, which will need efforts to improve performance. However, notable 1,1-Diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) scavenging ability 74.7 ± 1.6% at 250 μg/mL, its range 10–100 mg greater than that ascorbic acid μg/mL. proposes new waste-to-wealth strategy utilizes purified silicon silver recycling used PV modules, encouraging advancement reuse technology.
