The correlation between structure and properties in the photodegradation reaction of bismuth oxychloride (BiOCl) was explored this work. Three BiOCl samples with different sizes, morphological structures, defects were prepared through a hydrothermal method experimental manipulation. Their structural comprehensively characterized using X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, transmission spin resonance, photoelectron spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared ultraviolet–visible diffuse reflectance photoluminescence. Taking tetracycline hydrochloride (TC-HCl) as probe reaction, we found that high activity could be achieved by decreasing their crystal size thickness, introducing proper structure, assembling nanosheets to get microball structure. Masked cryptic kidney injury (MCKI), an early stage of acute (AKI), is challenging to detect and diagnose, especially in the modern context where toxic substances, such as surfactants, are increasingly misused. Consequently, there urgent need for methods visual diagnosis MCKI. In this study, we synthesized environmentally friendly spirulina-derived carbon dots (SpiCDs) using spirulina a biobased raw material through simple hydrothermal process. These SpiCDs, with their ultrasmall size, enable efficient renal clearance. cellular experiments, SpiCDs rapidly entered SDS-damaged cells, facilitating dynamic monitoring cell membrane damage vivo animal experiments demonstrated that were efficiently excreted kidneys began accumulate bladder within 10 min after tail vein injection. ABSTRACT Biomass‐derived carbons are eco‐friendly and sustainable materials, making them ideal for supercapacitors due to their high surface area, excellent conductivity, cost‐effectiveness, environmental benefits. This review provides valuable insights into biomass‐derived carbon modified supercapacitors, integrating both experimental results theoretical calculations. begins by discussing the origins of in including plant‐based, food waste‐derived, animal‐origin, microorganism‐generated sources. This study presents the pequi (Caryocar coriaceum) as a new biomass source for carbon dots synthesis. The almond, usually discarded, was used precursor in one-step hydrothermal green synthesis of dots. Pequi-based (PQ-CDs) exhibited an estimated height around 8 nm, with hydroxyl, carbonyl, and amino functional groups confirmed by FTIR, bright blue emission, quantum yield 17.9%. PQ-CDs were employed fluorescent sensors Fe3+ ions, based on quenching fluorescence interaction ions. sensor demonstrated linear relationship between increase ion concentration, LOD 1.16 μmol L-1, well below maximum concentration drinking water established WHO. are cost-effective highly sensitive alternative ions detection samples from Cariri region.
