In this work, multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) techniques namely the weighted aggregated sum product assessment (WASPAS) method and measuring attractiveness by a categorical based evaluation technique (MACBETH) are applied for predicting optimum performance of solar water heating system (SWHS) equipped with perforated delta-shaped obstacles. total fifteen SWHS design alternatives on variation pitch ratio (0.5, 1, 1.5, 2.0), angle attack (15°, 30°, 45°), Reynolds number (400, 800, 1200) were selected. The Nusselt number, friction factor, thermohydraulic efficiency fixed as selection criteria in evaluating alternatives. By entropy method, importance identified is quantified weight, whereas ranking determined WASPAS MACBETH methods. results show that alternative 1200, 45° exhibits optimal selected criteria. Sensitivity analysis was used to demonstrate robustness acquired findings, which further, validated using ten popular models.

Africa faces a significant energy crisis, with over 600 million people lacking access to affordable and reliable power meet their demands, despite the continent's vast solar potential. Several studies have indicated high potential of water heaters (SWH) in various African countries due enormous resource. However, diffusion use same Africa, especially West sub-region, been very slow compared other sub-regions. This study thus assesses barriers that affect adoption SWH systems using Delphi method Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process prioritize rank them for decision-making. Accurate and efficient prediction of electric water boiler (EWB) energy consumption is significant for management, effective demand response, cost minimisation, robust control strategies. Adequate tracking user behaviour can enhance renewable mini-grid (REMD) management. Fulfilling these demands predicting the boilers would facilitate establishment a new framework that precise predictions trends efficiency which necessitates this state-of-the-art review. This article first reviews factors influencing (EWB); subsequently, it conducts critical review current approaches methods residential building applications; after that, performance evaluation are discussed. Finally, research gaps ascertained, recommendations future work summarised.

Solar photovoltaics (PV) offers an alternative to fossil fuels and accelerated adoption of solar PV is expected among utilities, businesses, communities. However, not all communities are seeing these transformative opportunities. National studies have exposed disparities in rooftop across demographic groups, with low-income, renter-occupied, color disproportionately participating less. To better understand the mechanism that led observed national disparities, this paper explores growth rates variables, using Connecticut as a case study. stands out for state's early effort broaden access solar, specifically low- moderate-income residents, through incentive projects under their Residential Investment Program (RSIP). Combining time-series data on location existing systems from Green Bank information American Community Survey, calculated logarithmic function compared household income, home ownership, racial ethnic lines. After implementation RSIP, we find participation opened up new median rate doubled throughout state. This analysis suggests potential effect appropriate policies increase state-wide while reducing economic participation.

Abstract Through their consumption behavior, households are responsible for more than 70% of total global greenhouse gas emissions. Therefore, the GHG emission reduction potential due to household behavior is very high. Energy main source in households. There two ways reduce emissions households: use renewable energy, energy efficiency improvement, and conservation changes patterns. The highest saving linked with building renovation, followed by efficient appliances (including lighting). Renewable microgeneration technologies also provide opportunities reduction. Although there have been many policies developed from households, they still need be effective. This paper aims assess willingness Lithuanian embarking on renovation buildings, technologies. pay these measures allows compare preferences respect available support adequacy such measures. discusses attitudes toward results show appliances, lowest one s measure requires significant state support.

In an era where climate change and energy security have become paramount concerns, community renewable (CRE) projects emerged as essential tool for engaging citizens in the transition to sustainable sources. Despite growing interest CRE, limited research has been conducted statistically understand non-economic social factors that along with economic technical influence adoption investment such initiatives. Addressing this knowledge gap, our study presents a data-driven approach examining demographic, attitudinal, heterogeneous socio-behavioural drivers decisions participate aim of designing evidence-based local policies. study, we leverage insights from large-scale survey 941 Australians, which investigated some possible employ unsupervised machine learning techniques. Purpose This study aims to investigate the impact of several constructs on young customers’ consumption solar energy appliances in an emerging market by extending theory planned behavior (TPB). Design/methodology/approach collected primary data from 885 customers market, that is, Vietnam. Subsequently, this used partial least squares structural equation modeling relationships between examined variables. Findings The results indicated personal innovativeness, environmental knowledge and renewable significantly improved attitudes toward appliances. In addition, purchasing intention is promoted subjective norms perceived behavioral control. Contradictorily, functional risk a significant barrier intention. It also negatively moderates two associations: attitude intention, positive word-of-mouth. Despite being proven influence word-of-mouth positively, has no Originality/value These findings suggested implications for enterprises, technology providers policymakers develop appliance consumption.
