Purpose Pre-positioning and distributing relief items are important parts of disaster management as it simultaneously considers activities from both pre- post-disaster stages. This study aims to address this problem with a novel mathematical model. Design/methodology/approach In research, bi-objective mixed-integer linear programming model is developed tackle pre-positioning items, formulated an integrated location-allocation-routing uncertain parameters. The humanitarian supply chain consists facilities (RFs) demand points (DPs). Perishable imperishable commodities (RCs), different types vehicles, transportation modes, time window for delivering perishable the occurrence unmet considered. A scenario-based game theory applied purchasing RCs suppliers best-worst method-technique order preference by similarity ideal solution technique implemented determine importance DPs. proposed used solve several random test problems verification, validate model, Iran’s flood in 2019 investigated case which useful managerial insights provided. Findings Managers can effectively adjust their preferences towards response total cost network use sensitivity analysis results decisions. Originality/value locates RFs, allocates DPs RFs pre-disaster stage, determines routing stage respect minimizing costs logistics network.

Purpose Optimization of dynamics determining distribution performance pharmaceuticals is vital in realizing Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) number 3 which insists on provision good health and well-being to the society. This study was designed at unfolding diverse factors that influence Medical Stores Department (MSD) Tanzania. Design/methodology/approach utilized cross-sectional survey strategy gathering data from 67 staff members working MSD using census approach. A structured questionnaire facilitated collection quantitative were later analyzed ordinal logistic regression. Findings The results disclosed all variables inventory management, information management system facility location positively significantly govern henceforth rejection foreseen null hypothesis. Research limitations/implications realized inducing but did not cover role 3PLS 4PLS enhancing same, hence, an imminent ought seal this gap. Also, having grasped strategic pillar, then it would sound imperative analyze application artificial intelligence performance. Originality/value paper assimilates concept subaspects supply chain footings hence multidisciplinary value addition. illustrates applicability choice theory developing countries through pertinent triumphing SDGs.
