Extending the shelf life of perishable food, such as apples, and storing them in cold conditions and/or controlled atmospheres have been great interest last decades. Apples are very valuable fruits with many health benefits, but during storage at ambient conditions, they ripen quickly lose moisture, causing lower crispness or other negative effects, resulting waste problems. There has growing attention to protective edible coatings active packaging films based on biopolymers natural bioactive substances. Edible allow for combination functional ingredients compounds, affecting maintenance postharvest quality vegetables. They also ensure preservation sensory characteristics can antimicrobial antioxidant properties. All these aspects play a significant role which help prevent waste, is line circular economy approach. The functionality closely related type, content, composition well their interaction biopolymers. Active addition different plant extracts, phenolic acids, nanoparticles, be an alternative solution apples storage, maintaining fruit’s stability, thus minimising waste. most important issues latest reports improving using incorporated various substances were evaluated. Agricultural factors that affect described. requirements should focused low-cost materials, including waste-based resources, good miscibility, compatibility components. Those combined may result extension retention regardless variety cultivation techniques.

The use of plastic products or components in medical equipment and supplies results challenges terms environmental sustainability waste management for disposable, non-recyclable, non-biodegradable materials. Medical includes items ranging from syringes, tubing, intravenous (IV) bags, packaging, more. Developing biodegradable replacements to petroleum-based plastics has not yet become an urgent priority, but it is important endeavor. Examining alternatives involves several key themes, including material selection, testing, validation, regulatory approval. To date, research studies on polymers, composite materials, surface modifications, bacterial cellulose, three-dimensional (3D) printing with clinical trials collaboration industry, considerations, sustainable packaging devices, life cycle analysis. incorporation bio-based the healthcare industry holds immense potential reducing impact waste. literature suggests that researchers professionals are actively working towards finding meet stringent requirements industry. Considering the complexities, risks, and uncertainties of disassembling large end-of-life (EOL) products such as cars buses, a two-sided human-robot disassembly line can utilise both sides workstations to enhance efficiency, improve safety, increase revenue. This paper develops cooperation partial balancing model (TPDLB-HRC) minimise energy consumption maximise net revenue by addressing four interrelated sub-problems: planning sequences, selecting tasks, assigning tasks mated-stations, allocating resources. In addition, new reinforcement-learning multi-objective evolutionary algorithm based on decomposition (NRL-MOEA/D) is developed, integrating an encoding/decoding scheme, reinforcement learning, problem characteristics, coevolution between sub-problems address above challenges. The effectiveness superiority designed NRL-MOEA/D in solving various cases are tested comparing it with eleven algorithms. Finally, applicability proposed method verified series EOL examples, trade-offs made under different recycling profits guide decision-makers constructing schemes real situations.
