The use of photocatalytic hydrogen evolution depends on the availability an efficient photocatalyst. This experiment aimed to create a type-II heterojunction between silicon nanowires and titanium dioxide bridged by biomimetic polydopamine layer for production. delivered adhesion, mechanical durability, outstanding wettability, effective transfer photogenerated charge carriers. Electron microscopy provided insight into morphology integration nanocoatings, while X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy confirmed chemical structure nanocomposite before after tests. These included voltammetric impedance studies under UV-vis irradiation, which revealed significant stable photocurrent (up 300 μA cm-2) facilitated electron through hybrid Finally, we composed band diagram obtained remote heterojunction, allowed us understand its operation principles. We believe this approach provides different perspective heterojunctions allows further development alignment strategies.
